almost all singaporeans (except 2) i polled randomly on my msn list said it's 3 tigers!
*i also remember singing 3 zhi lao hu when i was young, only changing after i was exposed a lot to taiwanese tv shows.

buttttt... 3 doesnt make sense, cos e song sings...

after my long discussion with PR and HL, i have reached a conclusion.
in singapore and brunei, it's 3 tigers - 1 has no EYES, 1 has no tail and e other is normal.
in taiwan, it's 2 tigers - 1 has no EARS, 1 has no tail.

wat a morbid song for kids to sing. eeyer.

exams are over. wow.
exams are eeky. they make me so restless, it's like my attention span doesn't even exist.

i recently finished reading 2 great books.
tuesdays with morrie and for one more day, both by mitch albom.
i loved them.

TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE

i especially loved tuesdays with morrie.
basically, e story's abt a dying professor sharing his thoughts abt life issues with his ex-student, someone who was too caught up with e rat race to pause and ponder.
it presented a very deep insight of life.
and i identify with what e book is trying to bring across.

have u ever wondered why people are so afraid so aging?
have u ever thought to yourself, "i wish i could go back to e past/i wish i was young again.."?
morrie says:
"you know what it reflects? Unsatisfied lives. Unfulfilled lives. Lives that haven't found meaning. Because if you've found meaning in your life, you don't want to go back. You want to go forward.."

does that set u thinking?
do u think of things u wish u had done or hadn't done?
life is too short to live with regrets.
we should embrace aging, just like morrie did.

this book is so powerful, i always paused before flipping to e next page.
i made sure i understood wat morrie was trying to express.
this book stirred up emotions in me that i never thought i could feel just by reading a book.
it provoked me to think about life.
i smiled, teared, cried, sobbed while reading it. i'm not kidding u. sobbed.
i jotted down lines along e way.
i need to start highlighting quotes from e book.
inspirational!


FOR ONE MORE DAY

an author wrote in praise of this book:
"If you had the chance, just one chance, to go back and fix what you did wrong in life, would you take it? And if you did, would you be big enough to stand it? (this book) will make you smile...make you blink back tears of nostalgia...it will make you believe in the eternal power of a mother's love."


i loved this paragraph from the introduction: (wanna share this especially with peirong..)

this story is abt a man whose life is so broken, he chooses to commit suicide.
he stumbles back to his past and sees his mum (who died years ago), who helps him piece his life back together again.

another beautifully written book, with quotes galore.
i feel that what the author tries to bring across in this book is not so much abt life, but more of e impact of a mother's love on a child.
i thought a lot abt my mum as i read e book.
there were times i was mean to her, but she always let it pass.
such is e power of a mother's love. pure and unconditional.

read these 2 books peeps!

i have an announcement to make.
i absolutely hate HATE hate HATE hate exams.
frigging piece of shit.

i feel nauseous just thinking abt e exam scenario.
sitting in e freezing hall, watching everyone scribble furiously while i stone and wonder why others have so much to write.
shites.

besides, i feel disgusted at e stress that exams bring along.
like wat i'm feeling now.
yuckksss. get that feeling away from me NOW!
i have totally lost all motivation to mug for exams. TOTALLY is e word man.
even if i sit down and study, my productivity is SO low, it's almost zero.
thank God i have only one more sem to go.
i hope i clear my GEs and get at least a B for strategic mgmt.
a B is gonna be hard to attain cos of e freaking accounting students who are taking e subject with us. freaking muggers.
