simplicity at its best.

went over to Hatyai over the CNY hols.
for e uninitiated, Hatyai is a little city (or should i say town) in Southern Thailand.
e oh-so-familiar "life is simple" feeling came flooding back.

it's so easy to make comparisons, to whine about what others have and we don't.
it's always so easy to feel dissatisfied with life, isn't it?
there are many reasons for us to feel happy with life.
we just don't look that way for answers.

although i am not born into a rich family, i am lucky enough to be born in singapore!
life would be so hard if i was born in hatyai.
undeveloped city streets, dilapidated housing.. harsh living conditions that i don't think i could endure.

instead of envying how rich the singapore rich are, i thank my lucky stars that i don't fall below e poverty line.
instead of getting green eyed over others' pretty clothes and their ability to spend money without batting an eyelid, i thank my lucky stars that i have some decent clothes to put on.

instead of concentrating of wat i don't have, i turn to look at how much i have.
and i have so much.

i have a close-knitted family and extended sim family.
i have a loving bf that any girl would die to have, who loves me so unconditionally.
i have a bunch of crazy girlfriends who love me. 9jms i love u!
i have yet another bunch of crazy gfs who share e same passion of star ogling as me.
i have a handful of friends who walked me through e toughest times of my life.
i have so many pple who love me!

look for happiness in e simplest things...
其實快樂可以很簡單。
